NOTICE, VOTES, PROXIES AND DELIVERY BY ELECTRONIC TRANSMISSION

2026 LOT OWNER CONSENT CERTIFICATE

WHEREAS, the Board of Directors has by Resolution authorized Owners to submit a vote or proxy by electronic transmission and has given Shipley Homestead Homeowners Association, Inc. (“SHHOA” or “Association”)  authority to provide meeting notices and other information to Owners by electronic transmission as provided in §§ 11B-113.1 and 11B-113.2 of the Maryland Homeowners Association Act, Title 11B of Md. Real Prop. Code Ann. (2023 Repl. Vol.) (the “Act”), and as further provided herein; and

WHEREAS, Owners must provide the Association written authorization to deliver notice of a meeting or other information by electronic transmission, and must provide to the Association written authorization and their electronic address to be retained among the Association’s records.

I/WE AGREE that the terms “mailed” and/or “delivered”, for the purpose of giving or service of any notice, or other document, required or permitted by the Association’s governing documents is deemed effective notice to me/us, if at the time of such notice, it is sent to the email address as it appears on the records of the Association as provided by me/us. The Board of Directors and management for the Association is authorized to provide notices and Association information by electronic transmission related to me/us, and to accept votes and proxies from me/us at/from the following electronic address/es (print clearly):

I/WE UNDERSTAND AND AGREE that the above verified electronic address/es will be the only electronic address/es recognized by the Association for electronic voting and proxy receipt purposes for my/our Lot, and if I/we wish to change the approved electronic address/es that I/we must complete and submit a new Consent Certificate.
