1st      Please check the resident portal community calendar for available move in/out dates.
           One move per day allowed M-F 8am to 5pm.
2nd    Complete and sign this application with your preferred move in / out date and time.
3rd     Write check to ChapelWatch COA and Mail application and check to:

If you prefer, you may contact residentsupport.east@fsresidential.com to request a tentative reservation date/time and then you can drop off the application and check by appointment and only on Tues and Thurs to the FirstService Residential Charlotte office . Please allow a 48 hour response time for inquiries.

By signing below, I acknowledge I am responsible for any damage to common areas caused by the move for Unit # . I understand I will forfeit the $250.00 Damage Deposit if any damage occurs and might incur an additional fee if costs of repairs and labor exceeds $250 and I agree to submit payment upon receipt of billing.

Doors to the foyer from the garage and doors into the garage cannot be left open during your move. If a door must be propped open for any period of time, the door must be attended in person by an owner, or a retained security guard contracted in advance by and with the owner. Owners will be fined if any doors to the exterior of the garage or from the main lobby to the garage are left open and the $250.00 damage fee will not be refunded. This is a security risk to all the residents of our building and must be prevented.

How will and who will you provide to attend to any open doors into the garage and/or foyer at all times during your move?

If you have found any damage apparent in common areas that are pre- existing please designate below and indicate you wish to have First Service Residential inspect before your moving date to confirm.

MOVING PROCEDURES AND RULES
Pre-Move: 
Get approval from FSR at least 72 Business hours in advance of planned move. Moves and deliveries can be scheduled only Mon. – Fri. 8 am – 6 pm.
Complete application; damage acknowledge and sign Moving Procedures and Rules and return all to First Residential Services with $ 750 fee and damage deposit.
Owners, residents and/or their moving companies must obtain a parking permit from the City of Charlotte,, Park It Office to reserve the two metered spaces in front of N. Church Street. Park It Office phone is 704-432-7275.
Arrange who will attend to any open doors into the garage and/or main lobby during your move.
Inform your movers of parking, padding, and clean up provisions (See below)
Please arrange to have bulk trash items removed before you vacate the premises.

Move:
Only one move per day can be schedule in ChapelWatch.
Please don’t move any furniture or large appliances through the front doors of the building. (corner of 9th and Church Street)
Movers and delivery people must enter the building through the door to the main lobby in the garage. No doors to the exterior of the garage or into the main lobby are to be left propped open unless the owner or a security guard has been retained to prohibit others from entering.
Padding of the elevators will be installed by the management company.
Movers or owners must place protective covering over carpet from elevator exit to condo unit.
Movers must place padding/ protection to the floor in the main lobby area. Please do not use the lobby on resident’s floors as a staging area
Do not attempt to drive moving truck, UHaul or similar sized vehicle into parking garage. Please be considerate of residents trying to use the elevator.
The two package carts in garage near the lobby are NOT to be used for moving or delivery. Those are designated for owners/residents personal use.

Post-Move:
Please do not place any unwanted belongings in or around the dumpster.
Bulk trash must be removed from the building and curb by the owner or the City otherwise owner will be charged to have it removed.
Break down all cardboard boxes and place INSIDE the recycling dumpster.
Movers and delivery people must remove all packing materials from the premises.
Owners are responsible for ensuring the cleanliness of all common areas used immediately upon completion of their move.
By my signature below, I acknowledge I am responsible for any damage to common areas
caused by my move or delivery. I understand that noncompliance with these move/ delivery procedures and rules can result in my loss of the $250 refundable deposit and can any damage there is to the common areas including cars in the owners’ garage. Further if damages exceed the $250 deposit additional money will be invoiced to cover the damages required. I understand if no damage is caused by my move the procedures and rules are adhered to I will be refunded the $250 deposit that was made in addition to the $500 nonrefundable moving fee.
